saturday 27/12
it was a cityhall-ing day for everyone. saw hong and the dbrs there too. met up with sihui first to buy her last minute presents. i would never forget how we stole a rather long piece of scotchtape and got caught by the minitoons cashier, and how we managed to wrap the present with only two pieces of scotchtapes. HAHAHA. so anw batchies ate at din tai fung for dinner. we forgo our aerins' initial plan, which is good i thought cuz we're damn full and the price was also cheaper than aerins by half. :D
went to esplanade rooftop to chill and exchange our presents. and i conclude elfster's allocation wasnt that bad afterall.

other than sihui and wanyuan exchanging within themselves, the rest were kinda well spread. and thanks xuan for the presents and blue stuffs (but no matter how i looked at the notebook, it's still black lehh). when i have earholes, i will wear those earrings kay. :D oh and thanks clare for the card and wanyuan for the bubblegum. haha. took photos there too. the night scene from esplanade rooftop was really pretty. anw, it was getting late so we didnt get to do our batchies ball, but it's okay. we can do other interesting stuff when we meet up again eh?

woke up early to attend my first sws practice with the gays. initially it was really scary, cuz i'm like at a foreign place, and the sws individual players were really good. and the worst thing was, i had to use my plastic instrument, and it's hard getting to used to that, cuz the instrument wasnt touched for years. =X but after that, it was not that bad la. the person beside me was really friendly. just kinda feel weird that there's no oh-you-cant-play-so-you'll-get-chased-out kind of feeling, which is good! :D
went to eat lunch at soup spoon with lingmei, siying and val. lingmei left after that, and peckhong came after that, cuz initially val and peckhong were going for the tkgs/nakamura concert. by the time we waited for peckhong to come, it was like only 1 hr before concert. so siying and i decided to just go for the concert too. the concert really made us feel that we're very very old seniors alr. the batch 2 years younger than us were already sitting in the concert hall as audience, wow. well all i could say is, nakamura was really good! they sang cosmos too, but i thought meiden was better cuz there're guys. haha and the sad thing was, they cried after their last song. haha i dont rmbr crying after my last tk concert, oops. oh wells. went home after that and started packing my table. i finally cleared all the As-related stuff(:
monday 29/12
18s day out! and we did sth special: to visit 18 places at the central part of singapore. and it's a great day out, cuz all our stuffs we did were all well spent, you will see why later. *for full album pictures, view my facebook album. i only posting up some photos on my blog.1st place: kfc at marina square
planned our 18 places' journey there too, with brina and peckhong, since we're waiting for jess's arrival. but later on, you will realise we didnt really follow our plan. HAHA. oh we bought a melts student meal, so each person only had to pay $1.80. :D
2nd place: yoshinoya at marina square, which is just beside kfc. HAHA.
we bought hols special student meals, so we only had to pay $4.95. damn worth it, cuz they gave us this mixed fruit soda (?) for drink too, but they didnt give us our candycanes. HAHA.
i really like these pigs, even though mine's and brina's colour is like purple, which looks gay. :D

it was really funny cuz the other three eighteens haven been to esplanade rooftop before! HAHA so it's like i was the guide and they're the local tourists, lol.

jess wanted to see the scores there. and brina took a zilian pic there, as evidence. but i shant put up, can go view it on facebook(:
6th place: esplanade waterfront
we tried finding for spurts ball, and we thought we saw our ball! so was high for a few mins, then realised it's not. HAHAHA. so until now, we dunno where's the spurts ball. lol.
7th place: singapore flyer
we went for FREE cuz... we just stood in front of the singapore flyer to take photo, HAHA cheap thrills.
took a bus back to esplanade, cuz we're all lazy to walk back PLUS it was super duper hot.

11th place: gelare
damn shiok i tell you. and we only spent $3, cuz jess treated us $2 for being late. HAHAHA.
12th place: anderson bridge
seriously, after this day, i get to know the names of the bridges. LOL.
13th place: asians civilisation museum (acm)
once again, it's for free, cuz we stood outside, to be specific, outside the acm shop. HAHA.
14th place: victoria concert hall (vch)
SO GAY, YET SO COOL. :D

17th place: orchard's shaw house
watched bedtime stories, cuz didnt get to buy tickets for yesman. but it's really well spent, cuz it's only $6, student price! and and the movie was really funny! :D
18th place: waraku. japanese casual dining
this is the best man. cuz it's a monday, so there's this ladies night (last monday of the year to have that, and it's our first time experiencing it!), so everything is half-priced! we only spent $12! and the portion is like super big, and damn full. :D jess was trying real hard to finish her never-ending meal HAHA. the only bad thing was that, the queue was super long, our number was 217, and had to wait for like 1hr for our seat. but the coincidental thing was that, our table number was 18! OH MAN. HAHA.
so conclusion: 4 meals + 1 movie + 1 bus ride + mrt rides to go there, and go home <$30!
omg that's like 2 swensens meal. so hua suan can! well it's our last few days to use student bus/mrt fares, eat student meals, get student's special price for movies, so why not spend on those! HAHA. but an irony eh, we're students, yet we get the ladies' night too. LOL. overall, i enjoyed the 18s day out! :D
okay now it's time for me to pack my house. 2nd last day to be a student. :X
